Today, I received my P6 SA1 composition results. When I was walking back to my seat after receiving my paper, I dared a glance at the paper and to my utmost surprise, I had scored 37/40, the highest in class! My eyeballs nearly popped out when I saw the score. I had totally not expected it. When I read through the paper again, I realized that I had scored in content! Mdm Tan has helped me to improve by leaps and bounds. She had taught me to be creative and to use a variety of good phrases. History: 

Edubuilder founded by Mdm Tan in 1999, was originally named Mdm Tan's Learning Centre. It was a popular centre in Bukit Timah. Mdm Tan was trained in NIE/NTU (1991-1996) and was among the first batch to receive her Bachelor's Degree. Being the top in her cohort, she was selected to pursue her Honours degree. In the spirit of further education, she completed her Masters of Education subsequently. Mdm Tan specialises in the teaching of English and is renowned for her methodology in composition and comprehension. With nearly 30 years of teaching experience, she has not only helped thousands of students but also developed her unique teaching style. Her centre was nominated for 'Top SME Award' and 'Top 25 Service Award'. Her materials are well sought-after by companies. Mdm Tan's role as a curriculum writer and teacher trainer enables her to train other school teachers in her highly successful teaching methods. In recent years, Mdm Tan has established another centre in the East (Pasir Ris. 

     

Our Weekly English Curriculum

Our English Programme consists of two components.

English component covers grammar teaching, vocabulary enrichment, cloze passage skills, transformation and comprehension practice, components tested in Paper 2.

Composition & comprehension components focus on how to excel in new format continuous writing and situational writing, as well as comprehension skills.
